Welcome to Socialz ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our application at socialz.fun (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the Service.

01Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02Description of Service

Socialz is a clipping and distribution studio for creators. It allows you to import your own long-form video — livestream VODs, uploads, and recordings from channels you own or are authorized to use — and turn it into short-form content: selecting moments, reframing for vertical, and generating captions automatically. You may then distribute the resulting clips to your own connected social media accounts, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Socialz is a tool for distributing content you have the right to distribute. Before each post, you must affirm that you own the content or have permission to publish it. You are responsible for ensuring you hold those rights for every video you process (see Section 5).

03User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

04Connected Third-Party Platforms

The Service integrates with third-party social media platforms. By connecting your accounts, you authorize Socialz to access and act on your behalf within the permissions you grant. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of any third-party platform.

05User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use, clip, and distribute the content you process through Socialz, including compliance with the terms of any source platform.

You agree not to use the Service to process or distribute content that:

06Data Storage

Clips and processed video files are stored locally on your device. OAuth tokens used to connect your social media accounts are encrypted and stored securely. We do not upload or retain your video content on our servers beyond what is required to complete a distribution action you initiate.

07Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to: reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; circumvent any access controls or rate limits imposed by connected platforms; distribute malware or malicious content; or engage in any activity that violates applicable law.

08Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

09Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Socialz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
